Refund, Cancellation, and Delivery Policy – KCM Marathon

1. Refund Policy:

  • Non-Refundable Registration Fees: All registration fees for the KCM Marathon are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or inability to participate. Once payment is made and registration is confirmed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, or personal reasons.
  • Event Cancellation by Organizers: In the unlikely event that the KCM Marathon is cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, public health concerns, or other emergencies, the organizers reserve the right to determine whether a partial or full refund will be provided. Any refund decisions will be communicated to all registered participants via email and the official marathon website.

2. Cancellation Policy:

  • Participant-Initiated Cancellations: If a participant chooses to cancel their registration, no refunds will be provided, and the registration fee will be forfeited.
  • No Transfer of Registration: Registrations are non-transferable and may not be transferred to another individual or deferred to a future event. Each registration is unique to the participant and cannot be changed once confirmed. Participants must ensure they register under the correct event category (5km, 10km, 15km, 43km marathon, or executive walk) as changes cannot be accommodated after payment is made.
  • Event Modifications: The organizers reserve the right to modify or reschedule the event format, date, or course if necessary due to safety concerns or other unavoidable factors. In such cases, participants will be informed in advance through official communication channels.

3. Delivery Policy:

  • Registration Confirmation: Upon successful online registration and payment, participants will receive a confirmation email containing their registration details and further instructions. This email serves as proof of registration and must be retained for future reference. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, please contact the event support team immediately.
  • Race Kit Collection: Race kits, which typically include a bib number, T-shirt, and other event materials, must be collected in person at designated collection points before the event. The exact dates, times, and locations for kit collection will be communicated to participants through email and official event announcements. Participants must present their registration confirmation email and valid identification when collecting their race kits.
  • No Delivery of Physical Items: Race kits will not be shipped or delivered to participants’ addresses. All registered participants are responsible for collecting their kits within the specified timeframe. Failure to collect the race kit may result in disqualification from the event without a refund.
